Staedtler Bigtera And Adapter Compass

STAEDTLER Bigtera And Adapter Compass Set | Precision Drawing & Drafting Tool

Unlock unparalleled accuracy and versatility in all your technical and creative projects with the STAEDTLER Bigtera and Adapter Compass Set. Engineered for students, architects, designers, and engineers who demand precision, this comprehensive drawing set provides the reliability and functionality synonymous with the STAEDTLER brand. Whether you are tackling complex geometric assignments, drafting intricate architectural plans, or creating detailed artistic designs, this compass set is the definitive tool for achieving flawless circles and arcs every time.

This premium drawing set is composed of a school compass with an extension bar (often called a ´mustache´ bar), a universal adapter, and a practical tube of spare mines (leads). At the core of the set is a high-quality precision compass, thoughtfully designed to deliver consistent and accurate results. The compass is of great precision, has a central wheel and a rapid adjustment mechanism. This dual-action control system offers the best of both worlds: use the smooth central wheel for minute, fine-tuned adjustments to achieve the exact radius you need, and engage the convenient push-button rapid adjustment for quickly setting the approximate size, saving valuable time on any project.

Experience superior stability and control as you draw. The legs are articulated and the mine and needle are interchangeable, a feature typically found in professional-grade instruments. The hinged legs can be bent to ensure that both the needle point and the lead remain perpendicular to the drawing surface, even when creating very large circles. This prevents slippage and maintains a consistent line width for a clean, professional finish. The ability to swap out the needle and lead insert not only extends the life of your tool but also offers enhanced customisation for various applications.

The true versatility of the STAEDTLER Bigtera set lies in its included accessories. The extension bar seamlessly attaches to the compass, significantly increasing its range and enabling you to draw exceptionally large circles that are impossible with a standard compass. This is an indispensable feature for large-scale technical drawings, artistic compositions, and educational demonstrations. Furthermore, the universal adapter transforms this precision instrument into a multi-functional drawing tool. Simply swap out the lead insert for the adapter to securely hold a wide variety of writing and drawing instruments, such as technical pens, fineliners, or colouring pens, allowing you to create perfect circles in any ink or colour you choose.

Built with the robust quality and ergonomic design that STAEDTLER is known for, the Bigtera Compass feels balanced and secure in hand. It is an essential addition to any collection of stationery and rulers, offering a level of precision that a standard ruler cannot provide for circular geometry. The included tube of spare leads ensures you are always prepared to work without interruption. Elevate your work from simple lines to perfect forms with a drawing system designed for accuracy, durability, and creative freedom
