When you put them on, you immediately feel that they are shoes for fast running, but the Lightstrike Pro outsole allows for even slower runs with great comfort. I ran a personal record in a half marathon (1h23) with them and I feel that the maximum distance they can run is up to 10k. I always get excited when I wear them and that's reason enough to give them top marks.

Light and bouncy in a vivid colour way. These runners are perfect for the flat/road. Under heel stability is limited, which makes these less versatile than, say, the Ultraboost. They pick up the dirt very easily, and the midsole creases as soon as you tread into them. However, they are so light and so bouncy, they make your runs fun.

Oh my gosh! I think these are my absolute favourite shoes. I know the tred is the higher stack stuff but I definitely favour the Adios 9. Super light and responsive. I haven´t raced in them yet but for speed and interval sessions, they are SUPERB. It´s also super comfortable and true to size. The ONLY downside is definitely the laces, they just feel a bit low quality but other than that no complaints at all!

Comfortable trainer for walking general purpose

Very light, very comfortable trainer going to be my no.1 for walking around in summer shoe. Cool design and I think Adidas make great shoes for walking around in. At this early stage I´m not so sure about racing in them they do sweat alot and I found the fit too small in my reg.9s so I went for 9.5 in the end felt my muscle go hamstring at 3.5k intervals couldn´t get the socks to stop around sliding in them. Foot movement in them can´t have everything I guess

Went for the UK 8 and they are a very fitted shoe, I’m a 7.5 when measured but went 1/2 size up. They fit like the Adios pro 4 and I could have gone to a UK 8.5 but for a lightweight racing flat style shoe that fit as they should. The low stack is what I wanted as I’m trying to use different types of shoes to build foot strength again after suffering from plantar fasciitis for 18 months. Great shoes that I got in the sale so a win-win !

I love these shoes for their lightness and the fact that I can feel the ground; they are super comfortable and I can run in them for a long time without discomfort and at a good speed too. The only thing against them is that they are so soft that they have a bit of side to side movement which affects the stability, but a minor point really.

I would definitely recommend going up half a size. Very light & look amazing with a pair of Adidas socks.These are great, I tried the adizero adios pro 4 but they were way to bouncy. these are much better and a lot cheaper, the sole is quite thin but the cushion this gives my joints at 47 years old is great. they are a quite slim as well & not to chunky like alot of running shoes which don´t suit my slim legs. when these wear out I will almost certainly be replacing them with another pair.

Super comfy but not for long runs if you’re on the heavy side. I’m well built at 90kg and have good running fitness but these shoes are a bit too soft for my weight. Also, more like a track shoe or make sure you’re running on an even surface. Overall amazing, can do easy 10-15k but wouldn’t be my choice for longer distances, again due to my weight

I currently use the Adidas Adizero Adios 9 for my interval training. It is a very nice and light (size 46, 205 grams) shoe and I do distances of 5-10 km on an athletics track. In the trend of so-called "max stack shoes" this comes as a relief and you feel the ground beneath you without it putting too much strain on your joints. For me my usual size was fine.

Shoes arrived yesterday, a couple of days before the expected delivery window closing. The shoes are great. Did my first run today at -27 and light snow. Was a set of 7x1 min intervals and was the first time in a few weeks with the poor conditions that I was able to exceed all of my interval goals. I was wearing ice spikes because of the fresh snow and cold temp and will have to test the actual grip of the shoe more when the weather improves. The fit me true to size and are so comfortable on foot.

I bought these for speed workouts, however, I feel these are going to get a lot more use! Size-wise, I´d recommend going up .5 size from usual (I normally buy 11.5, I got a 12). They are nice and bouncy at slow pace, however they come alive at pace. Upper is really comfortable, such a change from previous Adizero shoes. If you like a lower-stack runner, and a bit of ground feel, you´ll love these

Very light weight. 27mm stack height is great for shorter and faster sessions. No plate, so you have to do all the work, but this is helped by the shoe´s weight. Comfortable upper, but I went 1/2 a size up. I am always a UK 9.5 in Adidas, but I exchanged it for a UK 10 and no regrets (I felt the 9.5 were a bit short in length). My size 10s weight around 190 grams.
