Painstakingly perfected for out-of-this-world performance and weighing just under 250 grams, the 3-stripes brand now brings us the final evolution of its Speed series.
The Terrex Speed Ultra’s sole unit quickly shows its guns with a redesigned Lightstrike midsole that adds a boost™ layer in the heel for explosive energy return. The Continental™ compound rubber outsole provides stable, consistent traction over rough terrain thanks to its wedge-shaped micro-lug pattern, considerably increasing grip per square inch.
Meanwhile, the Terrex Speed Ultra’s upper validates its racing DNA with a softer, more breathable Engineered mesh than ever before. Microperforations in the midfoot combine with a wider mesh pattern to provide maximum airflow to keep you cool and dry. Heat-sealed reinforcements at the toecap and midfoot adhere to the foot in a sports bandage fashion for natural, anatomical support, while the low-profile lace closure at the instep allows a fully customizable grip.

Tom Evans tested different versions of the shoe for two years and helped us craft it to completion.
He then took it for a spin and won the Tarawera race wearing it.
