Comfort and lightness

Purchased for ultra-distance running, I can´t wait to test them in action. For now, on training runs up to 25km, no issues. Comfortable like all Altras with the XXL space for toes and light for more dynamism, even though I´m not a fast runner. Soles are also comfortable on paths without overly large lugs that could trap small stones which could become bothersome. The mesh seems a bit fragile, but for road running the risks are limited. For sizing, I sometimes wear a 43.5 in some Altra models (Lone Peak for example), and here with a 43, I have plenty of space, enough to be able to slip them on without unlacing them. The foam at the heel allows for slight rubbing without consequence for me, unlike more rigid and less padded models
