This is my 2nd pair of Altra Rivera and they are an absolute work horse of a shoe, light weight, wide toe box. I put them for the first time before my track session and feet felt great, like running on clouds.

It feels narrower than the Altralon peak, and the size may be increased by 0.5. However, it is lightweight and ideal for running !!

i'm new to altra and zero drop ,shoes in general. been wearing traditional shoes from new balance before this. didn't need any break in period for me and the shoe fits like a glove and very comfortable. the foam was slightly more cushiony than what i'm used to. i'm looking forward to see if the ego foam lasts longer than fresh foam and other eva foams in the market.

First impressions are very positive, the shoe is true to size and feels comfy, roomy and snappy at the same time. It is far from a wide shoe, I'd say it's not much wider compared to some "standard" Saucony and New Balance shoes that I owe.

The shoes are excellent the EGO sole is response and cushioned as much as it should be. The shoes are light if you have use Paradigm is the same shoe more light and less sole. It is close to DUO for those who have try them. For people who like TORIN (Torin 3, Torin 3.5 and Torin 4.5) must know that the sole is not that cushioned but more response !! And at the end is the narrowest shoe of Altra i have wear but does not fell bad. I would like to see the next Riviera to be as wide as Torin 4.5.

After the end of the Altra Impulse, the best Altra so far for me. Even after 60 km it worked well, it was comfortable.
