ASICS MAGIC SPEED™ 5: Fly Through Your Runs

Unlock a new level of performance with the ASICS MAGIC SPEED™ 5, the ultimate running shoe in the Footwear category designed for those who chase speed and new personal bests. Engineered for both high-tempo training and race day domination, this shoe offers an exceptionally energized and responsive experience from start to finish. Whether you´re a dedicated male or female athlete, this shoe is built to help you achieve your running goals.

Building on the success of its predecessors, the fifth iteration introduces significant upgrades for a superior performance feel. The MAGIC SPEED™ 5 shoe features an energized ride so you can fly through your runs and races with more speed.

It´s also approximately 50g lighter than the previous version.

FF LEAP™ cushioning and FF BLAST™ PLUS have been added to the midsole to create an elevated run experience and a highly energized toe-off.

When combined with a lower drop (7mm), a lower total stack height (reduced 6mm in the heel and 5mm in the forefoot from the previous version), and a reconfigured carbon plate, this shoe provides a responsive ride and better control.

At the heart of its propulsive power is a reconfigured, full-length Carbon Plate, sandwiched within the dynamic midsole. This key feature acts as a guidance system, smoothly rolling your foot forward and creating a powerful, efficient toe-off that conserves your energy and maximizes your speed. The updated design of the plate works in perfect harmony with the shoe´s new geometry to provide enhanced stability and a more controlled, connected-to-the-ground sensation, giving you the confidence to push your pace on sharp turns and long straights.

The advanced upper provides exceptional breathability to keep your feet cool under pressure, while offering a secure, supportive fit that locks your foot in place without restriction. This secure hold is crucial for maintaining stability during fast-paced workouts and races. Furthermore, a durable outsole geometry delivers outstanding traction and grip on road surfaces, ensuring reliable performance in various conditions.

Perfectly suited for a wide range of runners, this versatile speed trainer is an ideal choice for both Men and Women seeking a competitive edge. Available in a Standard fit, it accommodates a variety of foot shapes, ensuring comfort as you log your fastest miles.
