Castelli Medio short sleeve base layer

Castelli Medio Short Sleeve Base Layer for Women | Thermal Comfort & Moisture Control

Discover the perfect balance of warmth and breathability with the Castelli Medio Short Sleeve Base Layer for Women, your essential companion for cycling in transitional weather. Engineered for those cool-but-not-cold days, this thermal T-shirt style base layer is the ultimate solution for maintaining core comfort when the temperature fluctuates. It masterfully bridges the gap between lightweight summer layers and heavy winter insulation, making it one of the most versatile pieces in any dedicated cyclist´s wardrobe. Whether you´re heading out for a crisp autumn morning ride or tackling a high-tempo training session in the spring, the Medio provides the moderate insulation you need without causing you to overheat when the pace or the temperature rises.

The secret to the Medio´s exceptional performance lies in its advanced fabric and thoughtful construction. Designed to be worn directly against the skin, it excels at moisture management, actively wicking sweat away from your body to keep you dry and comfortable. This process is critical for preventing the chill that can set in from damp fabric, ensuring your body temperature remains stable and your performance stays high. The short sleeve design offers core warmth while allowing for maximum arm freedom, making it an ideal choice to wear under a long-sleeve jersey or paired with arm warmers for adaptable protection. The classic crew-neck collar and zipper-free construction ensure a smooth, comfortable fit with no bulk or irritation under your bib straps and outer layers, allowing you to focus purely on the ride ahead.

This women´s specific cut is anatomically shaped to provide optimal coverage and performance in the cycling position, ensuring the layer stays put without bunching.
