Made to keep you dry in cool conditions, this base layer features body mapping construction with Prosecco hydrophilic treatment on the main body fabric and lighter-weight PrimaLoft® fabric aligned to the parts of the body covered by the bibtight straps.

The first goal of this base layer is to move moisture away from your skin while adding minimal insulation for those cool days when your riding intensity is high enough and your outer layers are warm enough.

The areas covered by the bibtight around the waist and up the back can get hot, so we used a lightweight PrimaLoft® fabric to help even out the temperature.

This base layer works best when in contact with the skin, so both fabrics are very stretchy and the cut is slim.

On extremely cold days we´ll use this as a first layer under a Flanders Warm second base layer, or under a thermal jersey.

It´s very effective at moving sweat away from the body.,.

Proprietary stretch rib knit 100% polyester main body fabric with Prosecco hydrophilic treatment for maximum wicking.

PrimaLoft® panels at waist and back where bibtight covers upper body, to reduce uneven insulation.

Crew neck closure to fit under short-collared jerseys

I also have the Castelli Flanders base layer which is a lot thicker. The front of the Castelli Prosecco Tech Base Layer is a little thicker than I expected, almost merino like. The back is a lot thinner though which I am happy about. I normally fit M in Catelli but purchased a small in the Flanders and Prosecco Tech Base Layer and they fit perfect. I am 5'6" 67kg's I haven't worn yet on a ride but I can tell this will be perfect for those spring and autumn rides when it's not yet freezing for a thicker base layer
