Inov8 trail running x-talon 212 (m) precision fit

I bought two pair. The running shops in Oslo, Norway sold out. These outsoles are Graphene so more durable and sticky than other brands. The fit is precision, and the material takes 2-3 uses to soften and form to the foot. I use them now on all kinds of snow with the Inov-8 gaiters - perfect! So these shoes are ALL SEASON training, racing, and hiking out in nature.

Light shoes with excellent grip, 1200 km, once they lose grip you notice the terrain excessively, 3 pairs of the same model

Favorite shoe for several years. Excellent for trail running. Have also used these in the winter on snow and ice. The sole is superb all year round. Low profile means good ground contact. Wears out somewhat faster than other shoes, because the sole is soft. Good comfort. Unfortunately difficult to buy in Norway from 2020.

Race on asphalt too?

Good morning. Is this model a good choice for Swimrun? But I realize that I run mainly on asphalt and very little on paths. Won´t this kind of rubber wear out very quickly? Also hesitant with the Scott Supertrac RC 2. The water must also drain easily. Thanks for your advices.

The Inov Xtrail 212 is a typical all-terrain shoe. The sole is very good on all types of ground in the terrain. The sole has very good grip. Have also used these shoes on snow and icy surfaces in the winter, but then mainly for walking. Not recommended for running on asphalt. If you run a lot and long distances on asphalt, you must choose a different shoe. In relation to Swimrun, I am only slightly familiar with running shoes that work for swimming and running. Would in any case choose shoes that are suitable for running on tarmac. Etc. Lasse

Great for soft ground, no good at all on hard surfaces like a road.
