Klättermusen Sol cap

Sol is a lightweight, comfortable quick-drying runner’s cap ideal for fast-paced activities in warmer weather. The Sol Cap is made from our Oculus® fabric in recycled polyester with flexible and quick-drying properties. It has a soft and lightweight wired brim that’s easily shapable, and features ventilation on the sides, a key pocket on the back, and flex-fit construction for a perfect fit.

Technology:

Oculus®:
- Oculus® is the group name for our polyester apparel fabrics, produced in accordance with our strict requirements for sustainability and quality. These fabrics can include a mix of polyester or Elastane to get the desired qualities. Polyester has close to no water absorption, high abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and is very wrinkle resistant. This makes it ideal for use in outdoor packs and apparel.

Bluesign®:
- Bluesign® is a standard for environmental health and safety in textile manufacturing. The bluesign® organization provides independent auditing of textile mills, closely examining manufacturing processes from raw materials and energy inputs to water and air emissions outputs. Bluesign® helps us to keep control over the supply chain and choose manufacturing partners based on their commitment to safety and environment.

The bluesign® approval on our fabrics means that it complies with the highest standards of consumer safety by using materials and techniques that save resources and minimize environmental impact. Klättermusen has been a bluesign® system partner since 2007.


Care:

- Machine wash at 30°C on reduced cycle.
- Do not bleach.
- Moderate-temperature drying.
- Iron at low temperature.
