Product description of NNormal Tomir WP Mid trail running shoes

Description summary

Conquer any trail in any weather with the Tomir Waterproof Mid. This shoe delivers superior ankle support and ultimate weather protection with a 40k-rated, climate-neutral Sympatex® waterproof membrane. Experience unbeatable, long-lasting grip on any surface thanks to the VIBRAM® Megagrip and Litebase outsole, which reduces weight without sacrificing performance. Lightweight, durable, and cushioned, it´s built for every outdoor activity, from technical hikes in deep snow to week-long adventures in intense rain

Ankle support.

40k waterproof.

VIBRAM® Megagrip.

Best-possible weather protection and ankle support.

For every outdoor activity.

At every level.

Features:

Tomir Mid Boot Waterproof helps you conquer all-day technical hikes through deep snow, and week-long adventures through intense rain.

Along with superb ankle support, all-foot comfort, and highest-possible waterproof protection, the boots also tread light.

They use as little material as possible, with a waterproof membrane that´s climate neutral.

Technologies:

- Sympatex® waterproof membrane.

We chose the Sympatex® because they´re both planet-friendly and high-performing.

The PES membrane is 100% waterproof (40k), 100% windproof, very breathable, and extra durable.

It´s also bluesign®-certified, completely climate neutral, recyclable, and free of harmful PTFEs and PFCs.

- VIBRAM® Megagrip.

The VIBRAM® Megagrip locks you to the ground, whether it´s wet granite or steep gravelly trails - wherever you choose to adventure.

Unlike other very sticky grips, it´s also long-wearing.

This shoe will last, and last.

- VIBRAM® Litebase.

The VIBRAM® Litebase outsole is thinner (by up to 50%) which makes it lighter (by up to 30%).

That lighter weight is great for saving energy when conditions get tough.

And it comes with no impact on comfort or performance:you still get 5mm lugs plus an 8mm drop.

- Durable ripstop upper.

A polyester water repellent ripstop mesh to protect the Sympatex® waterproof membrane.

Asymmetrical lacing increases support and reduces pressure points.

- EVA midsole.

From all-day training in a wet forest to battling through a snowy mountain pass on weekend hike, the EVA foam midsole offers lighter weight, supreme cushioning, and step-enhancing rebound (with a 31/23mm stack height).

Weight:330 g.

(size EUR 42).

Materials & Origin:

- Made in China by Fulgent.

- Sole:100% rubber.

- Upper:100% polyester.

Our athletes:

'' When the winter gets cold (really cold), this is my go-to shoe.

My feet stay warm and dry, and the grip sticks even on the wettest terrain.

If you´re cautious and caring about your ankles - I cannot recommend these strongly enough´´.

- Dakota Jones.

The shoes are great. Comfortable and no breaking in required. Same fit as the Tomir 2.0, just with more ankle support. Note that if you are shipping to Switzerland you will separately receive an invoice for a CHF16 processing fee plus 3% of the price of the goods, so add an extra approximately CHF20 onto the website price.

Very good grip

Neither boot nor sneaker. But with exceptional grip. Their non-specificity makes them excellent all-terrain shoes. For hiking and long routes. Comfortable and lightweight

For shoes a few centimeters higher

JEAN PIERRE

After using TOMIR 2.0, the desire for a slightly higher and waterproof shoe for a long-duration trek in a humid region (Sweden) - No surprises regarding the finishing quality and fit. Extremely light for this type of shoe. Good grip in all conditions. Just need to get used to a slight lack of stiffness when accustomed to approach shoes or fast hiking shoes

Good boots

I'd been wanting them for a while and so far I'm very happy; they're very comfortable and have a good grip.

Lightness and grip

Andrea

Great shoes: beautiful, light, durable, waterproof, comfortable and with great grip

Light and reassuring

Alix

I bought them for "hiking" use, but I also tested them on trails. They are light, strong, waterproof, very grippy, reassuring in trail conditions. In long hiking conditions, they are just as light, strong, stable and waterproof. On the other hand, with an additional heavy load, muscle fatigue is felt beyond 10 km. Concerning the size, they fit a little larger than expected, the next pair I would take them half a size less.

Great shoes

Tyutrin Oleg

At first glance, these are great shoes. I bought it for running in the snow in winter. Since winter has not yet arrived, I will run in them later. So far I can appreciate the quality and appearance. Made with high quality, they definitely won’t get wet. They are light. I haven’t figured out the size yet, maybe I made a mistake and should have taken one size smaller, but this will be clear in the future. Otherwise I'm happy with the purchase.
