tried the gaiters yesterday. Gaiter size M is suitable for shoe size 41. But I think that the gaiters should go higher over the ankle! This would make sense for short socks, despite long running leggings. Then no snow comes in either. Material. Gladly again.

The part that goes under the shoes fits perfectly for my Adidas Terrex, the Salomon trail low is a perfect match for both R3 and R4 model. The strap that passes underneath the shoe is made of a solid rubber tire-like material, it should last well. The fit (size L for Terrex size 43 Euro) is perfect, it is locked perfectly in position, the rear was cut so it does not catch the angle or knobs of your sole, instead it fits snuggly right into the midsole which is great for the Terrex because it is so angular the Salomon trail low has no chance to slide anywhere up and down, it is really locked in position. The stitching between rubber and neoprene/stretchy materials is again quality made. The material around the ankle is both solid and stretchy, not too light, not too chunky so your feet can still "breeze" through without letting debris in. It does not prevent good movement of the ankle either. I am using it is on muddy, rocky, sharp gravels and volcanic sand terrains in humid conditions varying from scorching sunrays (Southern Hemisphere - New Zealand) to pouring rainwater. The "velcro" part is very strong so it should last but that would be my only concern for the duration of the product, I would have liked to see an additional strap to secure it to the shoelaces maybe hence the 4 stars.

good product :, but high price; as a counter point it has the tape that passes through the sole; it will suffer the same wear and tear as the studs in that rest area, so I think that technological innovation should exist in order to avoid that tape (which could suffer undesirable snags in a rooted race).
