They effectively relieve pain caused by the boots pressing against and rubbing the inside and outside of the ankle.
Placed underneath the sock, these protectors stay firmly in place throughout any sporting activity.
Varying-thickness gel (2 mm at the edges and 4 mm in the middle) for improved protection, re-usable, hand-washable with household detergent for a better hold.

I did not completely remove the pain, but I did make it bearable. I bought some pretty stiff hiking boots and until they softened I couldn't even walk for 15 minutes. Contact with the ankle bone, the outer malleolus, was very painful. When I put on the protector, I still felt the pain, but it was much more bearable. So I was able to use the boots and I notice how they soften and they hurt less and less. I am left with the doubt that if the silicone were thicker, it would work better or not.

I bought it as a measure against shoe rubbing. Try using it on the heel side instead of the ankle.

I bought two pieces to protect myself in shoes after an operation for a broken right ankle but I did not have to use them and of course to protect the ankle in mountain shoes I think they are very good. There were 4 pieces

There are 4 pieces in 1 package. Silitene™: very light, thin, moisturizing and unnoticeable silicone gel. Progressive gel: 2mm on the sides and 4mm in the center for more protection. Reusable. It can be washed by hand with detergent for better fixation. Dimensions: 50mm diameter. Sold per 4 pieces.
