Engineered for serious hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, and navigation professionals, this premium orientation tool combines rugged durability with high-precision features to guide you accurately through any terrain. Master the art of map and compass work with a device that is both intuitive for beginners and powerful enough for experts.

Built to endure the rigors of the outdoors, the Compass 3E has a durable design to withstand challenging weather conditions. Its robust construction ensures it remains your trusted partner in driving rain, freezing cold, and demanding environments, providing consistent performance when you need it most.

At its heart lies a liquid-filled compass housing, which provides a smooth, stable, and rapid settling of the needle for quick and decisive readings. This housing protects a high-quality steel needle that pivots effortlessly on a sapphire jewel bearing, guaranteeing exceptional precision and accuracy with every reading. The classic red and black North/South lines and silicon friction feet on the baseplate ensure the compass stays put on your map, preventing slippage during critical measurements.

Your adventures don´t have to end when the sun goes down. The SILVA 3E is equipped with powerful luminous markings that enable night navigation. After a brief activation with a flashlight, these markings will glow for up to 4 hours, allowing for clear and reliable readings in low-light or dark conditions. For detailed map work, the integrated magnifying lens lets you read even the smallest symbols and contours with ease, helping to prevent costly errors on the trail.

This compass is a highly versatile navigation tool, featuring dual graduations in both mils and degrees (6400/360), making it suitable for a wide range of users from recreational hikers to those with military or advanced training. Integrated Romer scales facilitate the quick and accurate plotting of grid references, while a simple-to-use declination scale inside the capsule allows for easy adjustments. The included distance lanyard is more than just a carrying strap; it features integrated 1:25 and 1:50 scales to help you measure distances directly on your map, adding another layer of utility to your navigation toolkit.
