VAUDE Monviso II base layer pants

VAUDE Monviso II Base Layer Trousers - Men´s Long Thermal Stretch Pants

Embrace the crisp mountain air and conquer your next winter challenge with the VAUDE Monviso II Base Layer Pants for Men. Engineered as the ultimate foundation for your layering system, these long thermal trousers are your first line of defense against the cold during high-intensity activities like ski touring, snowshoeing, and alpine mountaineering. Designed for the ambitious athlete who demands performance, comfort, and sustainability, the Monviso II is more than just a piece of clothing; it´s an essential partner for your winter adventures.

Experience unparalleled comfort from the moment you put them on. The fabric´s inherent stretch provides an athletic, next-to-skin fit that allows for a completely unrestricted range of motion, crucial for kick-turns on a steep slope or deep strides through fresh powder. The material is exceptionally comfortable and quick-drying, actively wicking moisture away from your skin to prevent the chilling effect of sweat during rest periods. This ensures you stay dry, warm, and focused on the journey ahead.

The true magic of the Monviso II lies in its excellent temperature regulation. These thermal base layer trousers adapt to your body´s needs, providing essential warmth during periods of rest or low intensity, while offering exceptional breathability when you´re pushing your limits on a steep ascent. This intelligent functionality helps maintain a stable microclimate, preventing overheating and subsequent chills. When the temperatures plummet, these are the thermal tights that truly excel, providing reliable insulation without unnecessary bulk.

Designed for dynamic movement, the construction features minimal, strategically placed contrasting flatlock seams. This intelligent design significantly reduces the risk of chafing and irritation, even under a backpack or multiple layers, ensuring all-day comfort. The soft, elastic waistband provides a secure yet gentle fit that moves with you without digging in. Furthermore, the versatile flat leg cuffs allow the tights to be pulled up for ventilation or worn smoothly inside ski boots without bunching, depending on your personal preference and the conditions.

Feel good about your gear. Proudly made in Europe, the Monviso II reflects VAUDE´s commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and responsible production. These men´s trousers are crafted with a focus on sustainability, consisting mainly of certified renewable or recycled materials, allowing you to enjoy pristine nature while helping to protect it.
