I really liked my old Terrex but had gaiters on them. Now I hope I don't have to. The first walk felt good. Now I hope to get just as many hiking miles in these. I've gone up from 38 2/3 to 39 1/3 as my feet swell after many km in terrain. Very, very good grip in the sole!

These are not waterproof but there is a type similar with these that are gore tex and waterproof. I really like mine as they are light, give support and have a rough sole for different terrain providing excellent grip
