I have a 39 size and according to the chart I thought it would be better to order a size 40. Tight boots I was thinking. I could have ordered 39 because I have a place for a really really fat socks now. Anyway I kept it - I wanted to wear them already so I have a lot of space for my toes :)) and love it because of the quality. For this price is remarkable. Only the upper part of a zipper could have been softer, its a bit uncomfortable.

I have used them to do a 3-hour trail motorcycle route, on dirt roads and they have held up perfectly, being more comfortable than the motorcycle ones, although of course for easy routes because they do not have the protections of the motorcycle ones, but they allow me to combine easy trail routes, with hiking and not having to carry two pairs of boots. In the case of boots they do not give too much heat. Hello Rebelle, The inside of the boot is entirely in Thinsulate insulation (same as the outside), therefore in synthetic polyamide of excellent quality, from the heel to the top. No leather or fur lining. However, the interior texture is very pleasant, breathable and comfortable. In addition, the "featherweight" of the boot is an undeniable asset during its daily use in all weathers. BE CAREFUL all the same to waterproof them well. And if I believe my legendary flair, only princesses in size 39 wear such boots during the ball with the prince. These boots are not suitable for hiking: they are not waterproof and are too hard (inflexible) to spend a day in the bush. They are good for a few hours of walking on the flat but I do not recommend them for more demanding rides.
