KARPOS Midi Shell Pants

Conquer the mountain´s most demanding challenges with the KARPOS Midi Shell Pants, the ultimate choice for the dedicated male mountaineer and ski touring enthusiast. Engineered for dynamic performance during the Fall/Winter seasons, these long pants are your reliable shield against unpredictable alpine weather. Designed for those who move fast and light, they deliver an exceptional balance of protection, breathability, and freedom of movement, ensuring you can focus on the ascent ahead.

The Midi Shell Pants are a masterclass in versatile design. As a technical Soft Shell garment, they provide robust protection from the elements without the bulk and rigidity of a traditional hard shell. They are fully Windproof, deflecting chilling gusts on exposed ridges, and offer superior Waterproof performance to keep you dry during snow flurries or light rain, all while maintaining outstanding breathability. This crucial feature allows excess heat and moisture to escape during high-exertion activities, preventing the chilling effect of built-up sweat and keeping your microclimate perfectly regulated. The advanced Synthetic fabric construction provides the ideal level of Thermal insulation for active winter pursuits, offering warmth without weighing you down.

Experience unrestricted mobility thanks to the innovative Stretch properties and ergonomic design. Every seam and panel is crafted to move with your body, allowing for a full range of motion whether you´re making a kick-turn on a steep slope, high-stepping through deep snow, or navigating technical rock and ice sections. Functionality is paramount, highlighted by the full-length side zippers that allow for rapid ventilation and make it easy to put the pants on or take them off over boots and crampons. For durability in high-wear areas, the lower leg is reinforced with robust material to protect against sharp ski edges and crampon points. An internal gaiter provides a secure seal around your boots, keeping snow out. Despite their robust feature set, these pants remain remarkably Compressible, packing down neatly into your backpack when not in use.
