Due to its special manufacture, BACK-UP supports also the strongest stress in semi dynamic way avoiding the shocking effects on the ropes caused by the traditional self-locking devices with toothed cams. It works also with NO-CUT LANYARD Ø 12 if used according to EN 567 and UIAA 104. Connector included.

A great device works as intended and follows nicely down the rope. I like the n locking feature on it when working in windy areas that could put an upward pull on my rope.

Use this for positioning when trimming trees and for self-belaying on top rope. Feels really secure. The carabiner it comes with is twist-lock though; i´d rather have a triple locking system but the whole thing does work better with a heavy carabiner to make it grab the rope.
