The gaiter is not lined, so thermal insulation is only guaranteed by the internal boot, in short it is not a very warm boot, it has other qualities: it is incredibly light and very rigid, on ice falls it is fantastic

I can´t answer with certainty, but I can give you an indication: I wear 43 normal shoes, 44 Lasportiva summer boots and in this case I also took 44 and found myself very well, both climbing on ice and walking on snow.

I have Trango leather, and I bought the same size and they fit perfectly: I tried the Aequilibrium and I couldn´t fit them, so I would say that the GTech are a little wider around the ankle.

Io ho dei Trango leather, ed ho comprato la stessa taglia trovandomi perfettamente:gli Aequilibrium li ho provati e non sono riuscito a calzarli, quindi direi che i GTech siano un poco più ampli intorno alla caviglia

Hi. I have a pair of aequillibrium (top gtx), and I read that these are the same last and so I figured they would fit and bought a pair. For me they fit completely differently and they felt much larger than my aequillibriums in the same size. My aequillibrium feel snug and quite narrow at the toe, the g tech felt normal at the toe and really baggy everywhere unless they where cranked down really really tigh (not usable). I would say if aequillibrium fit you, I don't understand how these could but everyone is different. If you want to try a pair, i would say go the same size or half a size down depending on the volume of your foot (presume low volume of you wear aequillibrium).

Hi , I have Aequilibrium Top and LT since 2022 , Aequilibrium Speed since 2023 and G Tech since 2024. G Tech and all 3 Aequilibriums are same size, 43. No difference

I also have a wide foot, but I have never used Altra: the boot has a fairly narrow foot, so I took a size larger than my usual shoe size.

Ho anche io la pianta larga, ma non ho mai usato delle Altra: lo scarpone ha la pianta abbastanza stretta, quindi ho preso una taglia in più del mio numero di scarpe abituali

Personally, I didn't add any extra half size but, since this boot (that I completely love) is very light (and consequently slightly colder than La Sportiva Nepal Evo, for example) thicker/warmer socks might be taken in consideration.
