I was a little concerned the second time i wore them because i thought they might be a bit loose around the heel but by later in the session my foot had warmed up and filled it out so anything tighter may have actually been painful. They're great on small edges. I was able to send climbs clean immediately that i had been stuck on for months in my previous shoes because these stayed stuck to the holds so well. I have read that they dont smear so well but they are better at it than my last pair which were entry level and a different brand so i haven't found that to be an issue. It might be different if these are not your first upgrade to a performance shoe. Love the lacing system and I'm very happy with them. I'd do 4.5stars if it were an option but went with 5 because they're better than 4stars.
