Over the years I have had Merrell sandals. Obviously this means I have been satisfied with the brand in general. This past Wednesday I picked up my new sandals at the PO. I wasn't available at the time the driver came by for me to sign the receipt on Tuesday. Living in the Virgin Islands usually means a 2 week date can be late by as much as a month or more. I took the shoes out of the box and put them on and my feet didn't want to give them back. Comfortable can't describe how they felt on. Looking for a pair to replace some Oakley sandals bought in SA that lasted me about 12 years. I needed something for walking distances, but also for plodding about on the shore amongst the rocks and stuff. The Merrell Kahuna 111 fit the bill. How much do kahuna sandals women size 39 weigh? Are they good for hiking and medium trekking?

595g or 1lb 5oz. I wear mine all summer but for really rough terrain I wear boots to support my ankles. I pronate on my left foot so these are ideal. I've been wearing this style for over a decade, but replace each pair after 2 years to maintain maximum grip. Enjoy!

I have them in size 41 and they weigh: 600 grams. I would say they're great for hiking and trekking, providing your feet don't need protection from stones/rocks, nettles, thistles, brambles, etc. I'm on my 3rd pair of these, they are that great! The Vibram sole give great support and traction and I've walked/trekked many, many miles in them!

I have plantar fasciitis. I have found that the Merrell Moab shoes I purchased in advice, have been a great help in overcoming the proble. The shoes have RIGID SOLES, also a profile that allows me to walk with a rolling gait that suits me . I want to buy a pair of sandals with the same or similar soles, definitely rigid if possible. Do these sandals or another Merrell Sandal have rigid soles? I've tried Merrell and one supplier but no answer. Please help

I find my MERRELL Kahuna III Sandals have a stiff enough sole for light mountain walking, but I don´t know if they´re the same as the Merrell Moab shoes. I recommend looking on ChatGPT, he gave me some good advice on buying sandals and I ended up buying Keen sandals. I still love my Merrel sandals, but the Keen ones are great too and are especially suited to river walking.

I have had very bad plantar fasciitis in the past. I find these sandals excellent and I don't consider the too rigid. I think they are the best footwear I can find to walk in. Hope that helps.

My foot length is about 28cm and foot width between 10.5 and 11cm. This would seem to indicate I need a 9.5, yet sizes only seem to come in 9 or 10. So my question is what size should I order?

Hello. I have a wide foot and my size is a 43. I bought size US 10 UK 9 EUR 43 and the sandals fit my foot perfectly. I have measured them to give you an idea and they are approximately 29.5cm long and 11.5cm wide. With sandals, it is advisable that the toes are well tucked in.
