MONTANE is a world leader in windproof and trail shirt design. The Shark Jacket continues this legacy. Built for speed and comfort, it features PERTEX® Microlight Stretch, which is windproof, fast drying and provides two way stretch. AEROFLYTE panels across the upper rear of the garment offer enhanced breathability under a pack.





Features:



CONSTRUCTION:

- PERTEX® Microlight Stretch fabric is lightweight, breathable and features a two way stretch. It also features a super 100 DWR that is the highest standard of water repellency

- AEROFLYTE fabric across the back and under arms for enhanced breathability and stretch



HOOD:

- Stretch bound hood that has a comfortable, snug fit during trail running

- Head hugging pre-elastication to the rear of the hood

- Hood rolls away into collar when not in use and can be snapped into place to prevent rustle in windy conditions



PATTERNING AND DESIGN:

- Technical tailoring to prevent arm lift raising the lower hem whilst reaching high

- Articulated arms with engineered tailoring to prevent seams constricting over elbows and biceps



POCKET CONFIGURATION:

- Chest pocket with YKK MONTANE reverse coil semi-auto zip that locks shut and is rustle free

- Chest pocket is mesh lined for additional ventilation



CENTRE FRONT ZIP:

- Full length YKK MONTANE reverse coil semi-auto zip that locks shut and is rustle free

- Anti-snag baffle behind zip



COLLAR AND CUFFS:

- Brushed fine microfleece on inner collar facings next to mouth and chin

- Stretch bound cuffs that are wide enough to pull over forearms to aid cooling

- Rear external MONTANE hang loop



LOWER HEM:

- Fully adjustable lower hem to prevent weather entry or heat loss

- 100 Super Water Repellency

Is a highly durable water repellent finish that provides excellent water shedding through extended wash and wear





Care:

- The Shark Jacket uses PERTEX® fabric which contains a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as the first barrier in keeping you dry. Clean your garment in order to maintain this.

- Machine wash in warm water at 30°C/86°F with a mild soap. MONTANE recommends that you use Nikwax Tech Wash.

- Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.

- Drip dry.

- Your jacket may need occasional re-proofing to restore the DWR. MONTANE recommends Nikwax TX Direct.
