Cushioning
The Dropline combines the lightweight agility of a trail shoe with the comfort and protection of a mid-cut mountain boot. It is specifically designed to cushion your footprint on alpine terrain. This is made possible by the high-performance, cushioning EVA midsole and S Path outsole design that encourages natural, smooth and fast rolling performance during fast, dynamic movements, as well as excellent stability.

Lightweight Protection
The breathable and lightweight mesh upper is reinforced with the supportive 3F System, EXA Shell protective wrap and reinforced heel cup to prevent rock impact, support the foot and ensure great torsional stability. Additionally, the mid-cut design and SALEWA® Ankle Protection System (APS) provide an additional layer of lightweight, abrasion-resistant protection, as well as greater lateral support and comfort, especially on fast descents.

Customizable precision fit and positive traction
The dedicated 3D lacing system with integrated support automatically maintains proper lace tension in two different zones, while the customizable Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole, with interchangeable layers, allows you to adapt the fit and the volume to suit you. The POMOCA® sole has a characteristic rounded shape and rocker profile that offers a quick and balanced heel-to-toe transition and positive, self-cleaning traction on all types of terrain. Plus, the tongue gaiter and elastic at the ankle help keep out dirt from rocky and uneven trails.
