This screw is very quick to install and the integrated express tape is very practical. I'm not sure if the tape will last as long as the screw but so far it has behaved well.

Nice overall quality but as perfectionist i knifed all micro debris on plastics to avoid any scraps for sily gloves etc. Also 180 gr weight isnt for complete product but only screw without carabiner (+32-33 gr as i got into my hands). Plastics looks good quality not just china's goods. Qdraw sewn good by 8 lines.

Easily one of the most innovative pieces of climbing equipment in a long time. You really cannot compare other ice screws to the Salewa Quick Screw. No more am I tearing holes in my pants from exposed teeth. No more am I wasting energy while hanging on one arm and trying to manage a quickdraw with the other. The action for establishing the first bite is made easier by an ergonomic and small head that fits perfectly in your palm, then the lever allows for quickly finishing the placement. Hands down a five star piece of equipment!
