The Carp Expert Scobar Pole truly stands out with its striking red design, white and black inscriptions, and patterns. It´s the thinnest member of our 2024 pole series (alongside the Benzár Adventure Pole). It´s a real pleasure to fish with.

Due to its small casting weight, it´s highly sensitive, allowing for the precise use of small floats. Thanks to its IM8 carbon material, it´s lightweight, but not so stiff. However, there´s a reason for this. During the fight, soft-mouthed species like roach can easily tear off the hook. With the Carp Expert Scobar Pole, the risk of losing fish is minimized.

The rod´s thickest diameter ranges from 17-20-22 millimeters for the 4-5-6 meter versions. While it could be suitable for elasticating due to its tube tip, we don´t recommend it. Firstly, using thicker lines is unworthy of the pole, and secondly, cutting into it for elastication would ruin its aesthetics. It´s better to choose another pole for this purpose, such as the Carp Expert Supreme Pole.

Regarding floats, it depends on the length of the pole, but you can go as low as 0.3-0.5g, and even 1.2-1.5g floats can be used effectively in calm conditions with the 6-meter pole.

At the bottom, there´s an aesthetic screw-in end cap to seal the pole, and the ends of the sections are reinforced to prevent them from spreading apart during continuous use. At the tip of the pole section, there´s a plastic locking clip installed at the factory, greatly facilitating the assembly and disassembly of rigs.
