Carp Expert Supreme coup rod

The Carp Expert Supreme Pole is indeed a quality product, and when you pick it up, you can immediately feel the excellent craftsmanship and high standard. The black handle with red inscriptions and silver patterns looks really impressive. The weight and diameter of the rods also put them in the top tier: the thickest parts of the 4-5-6-meter versions are 18-20-23 millimeters in diameter.

Made of IM8 carbon material, the rod body is durable and lightweight, capable of quick reactions to strikes and allowing precise control for the line and float. The aesthetic screw-on end cap at the bottom seals the rod.

The tube tip allows for elastics, but it´s advisable to get another tip for this purpose, as the original is equipped with a plastic quick-release clip. For elastics, they recommend using solid rubber around 1.4 mm, with 0.14/0.16 mm monofilament leader.

Without elastics, similar line sizes are recommended, with diameters between 0.12-0.16 mm. It´s important to mention the size of the float as well: for the shortest version, it can be as light as 0.5 grams, but for the 6-meter length, it´s advisable to use at least a 1.5-gram float. Anything lighter might make casting and float control difficult even in mild wind conditions.

In stronger winds, deeper or flowing waters, and densely populated areas, it´s worth considering heavier floats, as the rod´s casting weight allows for it.

The Carp Expert Supreme Pole offers a unique combination of lightness and speed while concealing incredible strength. With elastics, it can even handle fights with 4-5 kg carp.

For those seeking an aesthetic, high-quality, and robust pole, considering the Carp Expert Supreme Pole would be wise.
