Emblem Surf Type R rods feature slim blanks and equal length section which reduce weight and give more feedback when surfcasting. The solid tip “hybrid” models come with a reflective band on a phosphorescent paint base for great bite detection at night. The hybrid tips also come with a single-leg tip ring to help detect subtle pulls from tricky fish and to show up bites as soon as the rod is placed on your rest. Ideal when paired with an Emblem Surf Type-R reel.

Thank you for the fast delivery! I really liked the design and the structure of the rod. I haven´t tried casting yet, but I believe in the power of the DAIWA brand! The only thing that made me wary was the packaging: the rod was packed in a tube made of very soft cardboard. Such a tube is very easy to crush. The rod inside the tube dangled freely (there was no damping layer). Previously, your store packed rods in very rigid tubes that are impossible to crush. I hope my review will be useful to both store employees and fishermen.
