I bought 4000D-XH. This reel is very tough and smooth. Even if you hook a big fish, you will be able to catch it easily. I use this reel for shore Seabass game and Super Light Jigging game with #1 J-braid line. I highly recommend this reel.

These reels are fantastic, but sizes - of actual body, are completely off. Previous generation saltist 6500 is far larger than MQ's 8000£. obviously spool is deeper but because of body handle arms are smaller

It's third saltist I have, first one is 7 years old and still going

MQ 6000 is smaller in body than previous 6500, but doesn't mean its bad. Drag is not as strong as in previous 6500, but only by 2-3 kg. very smooth, well made. Definitely worth money
