Connect the 8400 or 8600 Series GPSMAP plotter to an external HD video source up to 1080p. The secure, waterproof connection allows you to watch full HD video with audio on the plotter´s screen. The GPSMAP 8400/8600 supports full or split-screen video viewing from devices connected to the HDCP-compatible HDMI input port with this 15-foot (15-foot) HDMI cable. This also enables the connectivity of a mobile device to reflect or transmit audio and video from devices connected by HDMI, including mobile phones and tablets connected through external adapters or electronic keys. Stereo audio playback usually requires a NMEA audio cable. You can also stream the full HD video from the plotter screen and the audio associated with an additional monitor or TV via HDMI¹.

If used with a computer, to gain access to the touch control, use a USB cable (sold separately). Connect the unit to DVI-D devices with standard DVI to HDMI adapters or cables (sold separately).
