The MX3SW reels are affordable saltwater spinning reels that offer incredible durability in its price class.

All reels have an incredibly smooth gear feel and come with a fully machined aluminium handle for extra strength.

The lightweight graphite body and rotor allow for effortless days casting.

When hooked into a fish the super smooth and precise felt drag washer make sure that you will land the fish.

The stainless steel ball bearing at the line roller adds further durability in the mix.

The MX3SW is available in 5 sizes ranging from a small 2000 which is perfect for LRF and rockfishing applications to a staggering 7000 size to conquer the strongest fish in the surf.

Mitchell is a brand I’ve trusted ever since the famed 300a vintage reel that I purchased as is still going strong. This MX3SW 3000 is a gem of a reel. Amazing line lay. Mitchell seem to be foolishly overlooked by reel snobs, but they have always been good for me and continue to be. MX3SW 3000 has a lovely balance smooth quality feel. Loaded mine with my existing 0.1 original Fireline fused braid without any issue upon use with 10ft Leeda Nevavada spin rod and even paired it with a Mitchell Suprema 4.5m 100g surf rod where it performed amazingly well when used for Mackerel with feathers/hokias. Difficult to beat for the price compared to other more pricey names - you make your choice a pay your money.
