Both the body and blade are greatly reduced in size, creating a more compact profile that weighs half that of the original. However, the blade is still proportionally oversized to the compact body, which allows for significant vibration and splash while keeping the lure toward the surface even on slower retrieves. The blade is also fitted with a grained brass ring which emits a squeaking noise as the blade rotates.
