About Ragot
Ragot is a fishing equipment manufacturer founded in 1931 in France by André Ragot, a fishing lover. In 1969, Ragot is the first company in France to distribute the accessories to make artificial flies. In 1971, they created the first flexible plastic lure. In 1993, they started to commercialize Shimano rods and reels. The company is now owned by Rapala and the group holds various IGFA (International Game Fish Association) records and distributes Power Pro materials since 2010.
