Designed specifically for the demanding marine environment, this essential component provides the reliability and control you need for your boat´s motor. Whether you are replacing a worn-out, corroded switch or upgrading for enhanced peace of mind, this RECMAR start key is the cornerstone of a dependable ignition system, giving you the power to command your vessel´s engine with precision and security. Trust in a component built to withstand the elements and deliver consistent performance when you need it most.

Unwavering Reliability for Every Journey

The most critical moment on any boating trip is the engine start. The RECMAR ignition switch is engineered to eliminate uncertainty, providing a crisp, positive action through its three distinct positions. Built with robust internal contacts and a durable housing, it resists the degradation caused by humidity, salt spray, and constant vibration. This focus on durability ensures a secure electrical connection, translating to a reliable engine turnover every time, so you can cast off from the dock with complete confidence.

Precise Control and Enhanced Safety

This start key offers clear and precise control over your engine´s electrical systems through its three-position functionality. The ´OFF´ position completely cuts power, securing your vessel when docked or not in use. The ´RUN´ or ´IGNITION´ position powers up your engine´s essential systems, gauges, and electronics without engaging the starter. Finally, the momentary ´START´ position engages the starter motor to fire up your engine, springing back to ´RUN´ once the key is released. This intuitive operation prevents accidental starter engagement and protects your ignition system from damage.

Engineered for the Marine Environment

RECMAR understands that marine equipment faces unique challenges. This ignition switch is not simply a repurposed automotive part; it is purpose-built for life on the water. The construction focuses on corrosion resistance to fight the damaging effects of saltwater and humid air. The key and lock cylinder are designed to provide a secure fit, preventing slippage and ensuring that the key remains firmly in place, even in rough seas.
