As a leader in marine hardware, Wichard has designed the MXL Evo to be the ultimate solution for a wide range of applications on both racing and cruising yachts. This innovative piece of deck equipment replaces traditional pulleys with a modern, efficient, and incredibly strong alternative.

Key Benefits for the Modern Sailor

The MXL Evo stands out by offering a unique combination of advantages that directly translate to a better experience on the water. Its design focuses on maximizing efficiency and safety in all your line-handling systems.

* Unmatched Performance & Low Friction: Experience smoother and faster sail handling. The MXL Evo is engineered for extremely low friction, ensuring your lines run freely under heavy loads. This makes trimming sails, hoisting halyards, and adjusting control lines significantly easier and more responsive, giving you a critical competitive edge or simply more enjoyable cruising.
* Exceptional Lightness: By eliminating heavy metal shackles and housings, the MXL Evo dramatically reduces weight. This is especially crucial for reducing weight aloft, which improves your boat´s stability, righting moment, and overall performance.
* Ultimate Versatility & Reliability: The ingenious soft attachment system allows the MXL Evo to be securely fastened to a wide variety of attachment points, such as padeyes, toe rails, and webbing loops. This adaptability makes it the perfect choice for numerous onboard applications. Its robust, single-piece design eliminates complex moving parts that can fail, offering superior reliability when you need it most.
* Enhanced Safety and Deck Preservation: The soft-attachment design is not only strong but also kind to your boat. It prevents the kind of damage to decks, gelcoat, and spars that is often caused by swinging or flogging metal blocks. Furthermore, it eliminates the risk of corrosion and the catastrophic failure associated with metal shackles.
