An angling device designed to replace the predatory fish pulling method, with magnetic release device. Native to and the largest predator in Hungarian waters is the grey catfish, also known as the lurking catfish. Capturing and landing it is a difficult and complex process. Already in the times of the conquest, tools for catching catfish were developed in this country, such as the putty knife. This is an old Hungarian invention that allows you to make a sound similar to the sound of a catfish feeding by hand. The catfish will move in the direction of the sound when the kuttyogató is operated, and this is how anglers attract their prey. This device is usually added to the methods of catching catfish by boat, but there are many other techniques available for catching catfish. One of these popular techniques is the ripping method, also known as the chipping method. The idea is to tie the end of your main line, where the bait is, to a piece of ground, such as a bush, tree, etc., with a line of lower tensile strength. The magnetic release takes a different approach to this popular method of catfishing. A revolutionary solution that benefits more than just anglers. Unfortunately, outdated solutions are creating a lot of line debris in our waters. Existing breaking methods often leave the breaking line in the water, causing serious damage to our environment. This tool is a solution to this problem, as it completely eliminates the need for disposable breaking line. The device is based on a mechanism consisting of two floats that release the rope by means of magnets. Thanks to this, when caught, the device releases and the jigging can begin. At the end of the catch, you simply snap it back together again and you can continue fishing.

The Method:
- The breaking line method, also known as the spanoplo method, works by tying the end tackle, which is at the end of the main line, to the area to be fished with a line of much lower tensile strength than the main line. This area may be a reed wall, a bush, a tree trunk, a buoy, a weight on the water bottom, etc. The fishing rod is then placed on the bank, tensioned from the mooring, and may be either upright (so that the main line is pre-tensioned above the water) or laid (in which case it is pre-tensioned with a heavier weighted catch marker).

When a catch is made, the pull cord is broken and the jigging process begins. With this method, there is a greater chance of hooking the fish because there will be a more direct contact between the end tackle and the fishing rod than with other tensionless float or reel methods.

Problems Encountered:
- This is a single use method. If a line breaks, a new one must be tied. Unfortunately, most of the time, broken line ends cannot be found and therefore anglers leave the remaining line in the water after fishing.
- In the bottom heavy-duty breaking method, the weight, usually a brick or a square stone, is left in the water after the catch. Anglers bring in and leave as many weights as they catch.
- If the catch and consequent break is made in the dark, re-tying is more difficult and takes more time, which further disturbs the water and may scare fish away.
- Another problem is that the line used for the break may break prematurely. This may be a consequence of the line not having the right tensile strength and the angler may re-tie the system.
- It is difficult and time-consuming to tie the line back to the same point after a catch.
- If the area to be fished is further away, which can be more than 300 metres in the water, the potential for error is increased. It disturbs the water when the bait is put in and reduces the chances of catching the bait when rebaiting.

The Solution:
- The goal was to create a fishing tool that would replace the single-use line used in the breaking method with a steady tool.
- The breaking of the fishing line was replaced by the interruption of the magnetic field, which allows the angler to easily reassemble the fishing tackle after catching.
- And the parts are made of polymer materials that float on top of the water, making it easy to find the moored item.
- The solution is characterised by the fact that the two elements are magnetically attached to each other by magnets, so that the system is released when tensioned, thus eliminating the magnetic field. Once released, the system can be easily reassembled and fishing can continue.
