Castelli Squadra Stretch jacket

CASTELLI Squadra Stretch W Jacket

Prepare for unpredictable weather and elevate your performance with the Castelli Squadra Stretch W Jacket, an essential piece of performance cycling apparel designed for the modern female cyclist. This jacket provides the perfect balance of protection, breathability, and a streamlined fit, ensuring you´re ready for chilly descents, early morning starts, or sudden changes in conditions. It’s the reliable shell that belongs in every rider´s pocket.

The primary function of the Squadra Stretch jacket is to provide exceptional core wind protection. The front and back panels feature a coated ripstop material that acts as a formidable barrier against biting winds, helping you maintain your core temperature without the bulk of a heavy thermal jacket. This targeted windproof design is crucial for staying comfortable and conserving energy when battling headwinds or flying down a mountain pass.

Where this jacket truly excels is in its superior fit and freedom of movement, thanks to strategically placed stretch panels. These highly flexible knit panels run along the sides, allowing the jacket to conform perfectly to your body in the riding position. This eliminates flapping fabric that causes drag and noise, resulting in a quiet, aerodynamic, and incredibly comfortable experience. The women´s-specific cut ensures a flattering silhouette without any constriction, moving with you as you ride.

Incredibly lightweight and compressible, the Squadra Stretch is the ultimate "just-in-case" layer. It packs down to a minimal size, easily fitting into a jersey pocket with room to spare. This effortless packability means there´s no reason to leave it behind, giving you the confidence to extend your rides knowing you have reliable protection on hand. When the temperature drops or the wind picks up, it can be deployed in seconds.

Safety is paramount, and the jacket incorporates prominent reflective accents on the chest and lower back. These details significantly enhance your visibility to others in low-light conditions, providing crucial peace of mind during dawn, dusk, or overcast rides.
