Product description of Elite Custom Race bottle cage

Description summary

Experience the bottle cage trusted by WorldTour champions. The ELITE Custom Race offers unparalleled security for your hydration, no matter the terrain. Its patented, self-adjusting elastomer insert automatically grips any standard bottle, absorbing vibrations to prevent ejection on rough cobblestones or technical trails. Exceptionally lightweight at just 43g, this durable cage delivers pro-level performance without compromise. With its versatile fit and iconic Italian style, it’s the definitive choice for secure, reliable hydration on any bike

Discover the legendary performance and iconic style of the ELITE Custom Race bottle cage, the undisputed champion in the world of cycling hydration. A familiar sight in the professional peloton and a top choice for discerning cyclists worldwide, this bottle cage is the gold standard for security, reliability, and lightweight performance. Whether you´re navigating treacherous cobblestones, climbing steep mountain passes, or tackling technical singletrack, the Custom Race ensures your hydration is always within reach and securely held.

The genius of the ELITE Custom Race lies in its innovative design, engineered to provide an unparalleled grip on your water bottle. At its core is a unique, self-adjusting elastomer insert. This advanced feature allows the cage to expand and contract, perfectly conforming to the diameter of your bottle for a firm, confident hold. More importantly, this elastomer joint actively absorbs vibrations from the road or trail. This means that even on the roughest surfaces, the cage dampens impacts, preventing the frustrating and dangerous phenomenon of launched bottles. You can focus completely on your ride, confident that your bottle will stay put.

Born from a heritage of victory, the Custom Race has been tested and proven at the highest levels of the sport. Its simple, effective, and durable design has made it the most victorious and widely used bottle cage in cycling history. By choosing the Custom Race, you are equipping your bike with the same trusted technology used by champions. Its feather-light construction is a testament to ELITE´s commitment to performance, adding minimal weight to your setup and ensuring every watt of your effort contributes to forward momentum.

Versatility is key for the modern cyclist, and the Custom Race delivers. Designed to be compatible with all standard 74mm diameter cycling water bottles, it´s the perfect fit for your existing gear. Furthermore, its intelligent front entry and adjustable mounting points allow for easy installation on all types of frames, including those with smaller or sloping geometries. This makes it an ideal choice for road, gravel, and mountain bikes alike. The unmistakable Italian design adds a touch of class to any bicycle, and this specific model comes in a clean and modern White/Grey finish to perfectly complement your bike´s aesthetic.

Upgrade your ride with the bottle cage that sets the benchmark for performance and reliability. Experience the peace of mind that comes from a truly secure hold and the performance benefits of a lightweight, race-proven design.

I had read in a magazine that many pros rode with these bottle cages. I confirm, it's the best I toured Flanders with it and where in previous years I lost my bottles, this time they stayed in place. And contrary to what you might think, they are easy to extract and put back in place.

Widely known bottle cage. Simple but effective construction. The drum neither moves nor falls. However, to be a piece of molded plastic it could be cheaper... but you know that you are going to pay for a recognized brand.

It is light and durable, with an excellent quality-price ratio. It provides a very firm and secure grip, ensuring your water bottle stays in place even on rough roads and trails. High-quality construction and its aesthetic and beautiful design. It is easy to use, allowing for quick removal and insertion of the bottle. It fits well on all types of bicycles and is compatible with various bottle brands, in our case we use it with the Zefal Artica Pro 550ml

Very functional
