Highly valued by divers, fishermen, and amateurs, the Apnea series is often the benchmark diving suit in the underwater sports niche. Now, in its latest version, this suit receives a series of improvements aimed at making it more comfortable, watertight and safe to use.
Made of medium-density neoprene, the Cressi Apnea 2018 3.5 mm diving suit uses a new pattern that considerably increases tightness in the cuffs, ankles, and head by carefully adjusting its thickness in said areas. This pattern also facilitates dilation of the torso and back to improve breathing and do more comfortable dives.
The Apnea 2018 3.5 mm is easier to put on than ever thanks to its exclusive inner Blacklite© coating, which increases the suit’s softness without losing any grip or thermal resistance. For added protection, the Apnea 2018 3.5 mm also features semi-flexible Tatex© knee pads and an oversized load support in the belly area that prevents tears and slipping in this crucial zone.
APNEA 2018 is the new version of the traditional CRESSI APNEA, an essential suit and with materials of the highest quality and highly valued by freedivers, fishermen and professionals for its performance-durability-price ratio.
Made of average density neoprene with a specially flexible lining of Nylon to improve comfort and adaptation.
New pattern that makes easier the dilation of the rib cage and back, as well as the movement of the arms, by having a single panel of neoprene without seams on the entire side of the torso, armpits and inside the arms. The tightness of cuffs, ankles and face have also been improved.
Open cell neoprene in the inside with Blacklite© coating for making it easy to put it on without the need to wet the suit. The BlackLite® exclusive primer coat makes possible to put on the suit without requiring the use of soapy water, and once placed, maintains 100% the qualities of the pure open cell, in terms of adhesion, elasticity and thermal insulation.
New double oversized load support with padding and non-slip and ripstop fabric.
Semi-flexible Tatex © knee pads, divided in two protection elements.
Cut ending without fabric profile, simple, effective and comfortable.
Non long John pants for optimal dilation of the rib cage.

I am 1.8m tall and 68kg. I ordered size M and it was slightly tight on first fit. Use lubricant. After a few uses it was the perfect fit. Only needed to soak it an water to slip on. When my order first arrived it came without the pants. On contacting the service personnel, they found the pants and sent it on express delivery and it arrived in 3 days. Excellent excellent service!!!!

If you are wondering about the L size, I am chest-100 height-187 hips-90 waist-85 weight-75 arm-60 inseam-75 and the fit is perfect. Cressi suits are well suited for thinner people because the fit is tight before they stretch to size. The quality is much higher then most other suits in this price range. I live on a remote island literally on the opposite side of the planet and I still received my package in 8 days using the cheapest shipping option.

My 6th Cressi spearfishing wetsuit, the 5th at 3. 5mm for use during summer months in the Mediterranean. I've worn them for hundreds of dives each till they're exhausted, i.e. overly compressed from water pressure impact. Never has one ripped or been damaged in any way due to the strength of the materials - though my nails are always well trimmed, hands and feet, to avoid the risk of cutting into the open cell interior. In fact, when this one arrived yesterday, I put it on at home dry without any problem, and taking it off was even easier; it's a question of technique, how you move your body and where to pull and lift (hands and feet need to go straight through to their openings in the suit with as little contact with the internal sides as possible. Also, avoid pulling the tail of the jacket upwards against your back with use of hand and arm behind the head to help ease it off since this will stretch the material of the tail unnaturally, but rather turn the lower end inside out all around and lift upwards towards the centre body before crossing hands over in front and raising. This new model fits perfectly, the styling is attractive, the elasticity excellent. My neck is longer than average but there was no pressure on my head, while the fit around the face was determined but not uncomfortable. The knee coverings are convincing against damage from rocks, and the two gun-loading chest pads are better than any of the other five suits. The only thing missing is elbow padding, which will certainly have an impact on the lifespan of the suit if a diver has regular contact with rocky surfaces while fishing - more sophisticated models deal with this problem. Earlier versions included trousers that extended as far as the shoulders (longjohns), so I use a sleeveless neoprene undervest with these recent ones where the trousers reach only mid-body level to ensure warmth during deeper dives and multi-hour sessions - a cold torso means the rest of the body will also suffer causing frustration and discomfort if far from the point of entry into the water when no boat is available. Good overall for S, 164cm, 62kg, checked the sizing chart for height and weight, no problem.. However my mistake as I forgot to measure my chest area - if you gym or workout and have big arms/chest/back, might be better getting 2 different sizes for top and bottom
