The definitive edition of the character created by Alfredo Alcalá! Created by Alfredo Alcalá, Voltar is one of the artist´s masterpieces and most personal works.

At the peak of his career, Alfredo Alcalá (Conan the Barbarian, Planet of the Apes and many others), resurrected the character created in the Philippines in 1963 in two long stories written by Manuel Auad and Will Richardson that Aleta collects in a comprehensive edition with the best possible reproduction and that includes unpublished images, in addition to a spectacular gallery of illustrations of the character.

In this unpublished edition made directly in Aleta, we can enjoy for the first time the first original cover used in Magic Carpet magazine where Alcalá resurrected his character, in addition to the first and unpublished story published in 1963 in the Philippines, 7 years before the first Conan comic in the U.S.

Thanks to Alfredo Alcalá´s son, Alfredo L. Alcalá Jr. (from whom we have had the pleasure of including a poem dedicated to his father) we have been able to obtain the best possible scans of the stories included in our volume, and we have even been able to add the complete famous page 16 of the 1977 Voltar story that historically remained unpublished due to an error in using that same page as a "presentation" of the same story, in addition to a final illustration that serves as the closing of this spectacular volume.

We cannot forget the introduction by Manuel Barrero and the inclusion of an interview that Barrero himself conducted with the master´s other son, Christian Alcalá.
