I wore these shorts on the Adidas Terrex Trail Half Marathon Eryri and they are super comfortable! I used the loops on the back to stow my poles and there was no bounce. I popped a cut out section of bubblewrap into the back zip pocket in case the poles dug in. This worked a treat. The gel pockets at the sides worked well too.
