Heel Strike:

High level technical shoe. The foot does not heat up and is therefore extremely breathable. Tested in high mountain beech forests and oak on the hills. Maximum grip uphill and downhill. I recommend purchasing at least 1/2 size larger.

Excellent boot. This is my second pair, I like them so much. Keep my feet warm and dry no matter what the cold weather throws at me, but also a great warm weather boot. These are a perfect police boot. I patrol a vast area in the high peak derbyshire and cover both urban and rural areas. They are easy to clean, look really smart, very well made, durable and light on my feet. I won't wear any other boot now until I retire.

High quality product with high quality finishes. Not tried yet but looks a bit tighter than the Salomon Quest 4D and Garmont T4 Tour, all bought from trekinn. Too bad these Garmont T4 Tour coyote are no longer for sale on the site. It's a shame that the Salomon forces collection is not on the site. However it is one of my favorite stores, serious and effective work solving any problem. Fast deliveries, highly recommended.

This boot is comfortable and light. The gortex element has kept my feet dry in wet conditions although I have not worn in heavy rain/ deep puddles yet. The extra flexibility in this boot means I feel light footed when moving in urban environments and comfortable when sitting still for long periods of time. The toe box is very tight so I would highly recommend going up at least 0.5 of your usual size if not a whole size. Walking on potentially slippery surfaces has not proven a problem yet even when laden with heavier gear. An excellent light weight boot that provides comfort and flexibility with just the right amount of support for urban environments and light terrain. Highly recommended, just be aware of the size issue.
