Assos Trail Spring Fall softshell jacket

ASSOS TRAIL Spring Fall Softshell Jacket - Women´s

Master the trails during the unpredictable seasons with the ASSOS TRAIL Spring Fall Softshell Jacket for women. Engineered as the ultimate shield against fluctuating weather, this jacket is an essential companion for any dedicated female mountain biker, gravel rider, or off-road enthusiast who refuses to let a little chill or wind cut a ride short. It delivers the perfect balance of targeted protection, exceptional breathability, and unrestricted freedom of movement, allowing you to focus on the path ahead.

The core of this jacket´s performance lies in its intelligent, body-mapped construction. The front panels, shoulders, and outer arms are crafted from a technical 3-layer softshell material. This advanced textile acts as a formidable barrier, providing robust windproof and highly water-resistant protection to shield your core from biting headwinds, morning mist, and trail spray. This strategic placement ensures you stay warm and comfortable without the bulk, preserving your energy for challenging climbs and technical descents.

To counteract overheating during intense efforts, the jacket features a highly breathable and insulating brushed fabric on the back panel and under the arms. This thermal material excels at wicking moisture away from your skin, promoting rapid evaporation to keep you dry and comfortable from the inside out. This dual-fabric design creates a microclimate around your body, adapting to your output level to prevent the dreaded chill that comes from built-up sweat.

Designed specifically for the dynamic movements of off-road riding, the jacket is cut in the ASSOS 'trailFit'. This trim, articulated silhouette is not as tight as a road racing garment, providing ample room for layering while eliminating excess material that could snag on branches or flap in the wind. The sleeves are pre-shaped to match the riding position, and a dropped tail hem provides extended coverage against dirt and spray kicked up by the rear wheel.

Further enhancing its trail-ready credentials is the integrated scuba-style hood, thoughtfully designed to be worn comfortably under your helmet for an extra layer of defense against the cold without impairing your vision or movement. When not in use, it sits discreetly without adding bulk. A full-length double-slider zipper offers versatile ventilation options, allowing you to open the jacket from the bottom for increased airflow on long climbs while keeping the chest protected. With built-in UV protection, this jacket also provides a crucial defense against the sun´s rays on clear, cool days, making it a truly versatile piece for all-around spring and fall riding.
