Bca Dozer 3D shovel

BCA Dozer 3D Shovel

When every second is critical in a backcountry rescue, the BCA Dozer 3D Avalanche Shovel is the essential tool for powerful and efficient snow excavation. Engineered for guides, professionals, and serious recreationalists who prioritize digging performance, this shovel stands as a benchmark in avalanche safety equipment. Its design is focused on a single, vital objective: moving the maximum amount of snow with minimum effort and time.

Move huge volumes of snow with our largest blade and D-grip handle. Does not fit in shovel compartment of BCA Float and Stash packs.

The Dozer 3D is built to be a true workhorse. Its primary benefit lies in its unparalleled excavation capacity, enabling you to clear large quantities of snow and debris rapidly during a companion rescue. The thoughtfully designed ergonomic D-grip handle provides a secure and comfortable two-handed hold, even when wearing bulky winter gloves. This superior grip translates into increased leverage and reduced fatigue, allowing you to dig harder and longer when it matters most. The extendable shaft provides the versatility needed for comfortable digging posture, whether you are clearing a pit wall or excavating in a confined space. Rapid, intuitive deployment is key in an emergency, and the Dozer 3D assembles quickly so you can get to work without delay.

Main Features
* Maximum Digging Efficiency: Purpose-built for high-volume snow-moving to accelerate rescue times.
* Ergonomic D-Grip Handle: Offers superior grip, leverage, and comfort for sustained, powerful shoveling.
* Extendable Shaft: Adjusts for optimal length, enhancing digging ergonomics and reducing back strain.
* Rapid Deployment: Simple and reliable assembly for immediate action in emergency situations.
* Unmatched Durability: Constructed to withstand the immense forces involved in breaking up hard avalanche debris.

Blades

The heart of the Dozer 3D is its exceptional blade. It is the largest in the BCA shovel line, designed with a unique 3D-stamped surface and flat "stomp edge" on the top. This innovative construction provides incredible strength and stiffness, preventing the blade from deflecting or bending when chopping through ice and firm snow. The traditional shovel shape ensures effective scooping and throwing, making it a reliable and powerful tool for any snow-moving task, from digging snow pits to emergency excavation.
