Beal Be One snap hook

Discover the pinnacle of sport climbing safety and performance with the BEAL Be One Carabiner. Engineered for climbers who consistently push their limits, this snap hook is a game-changer for anyone serious about projecting routes, training, or simply wanting the most reliable connection to their rope. The Be One isn´t just another piece of climbing equipment; it´s a meticulously designed tool created to enhance safety, extend the life of your gear, and improve your overall climbing experience. When every gram counts and every fall matters, the Be One delivers unparalleled performance.

At the heart of this carabiner´s design is a deep understanding of the forces and friction involved in modern sport climbing. BEAL has focused on a critical area of concern for all climbers: the longevity of their climbing rope. This philosophy is perfectly captured in their own words.

Beals choice: To protect the rope, BEAL have devised a karabiner suited to sport climbing and repeated falls: the BE ONE. The receiving zone has been enlarged to allow for the rope to flatten during a fall without introducing lateral friction. The rope runs more freely and absorbs the fall more effectively. The contact surface area has been optimised through the use of a cylindrical profile with a 12 mm diameter. This is less restrictive for the rope and minimises wear caused by repeated falls.

This innovative design translates directly into a safer and more efficient climbing session. The enlarged, smooth receiving zone ensures that your rope has the maximum surface area to disperse the load during a fall. This not only results in a softer, more comfortable catch for both the climber and the belayer but also significantly reduces the abrasive wear and tear on your rope´s sheath. By investing in the Be One, you are investing in the longevity of your entire climbing system. The unique 12mm cylindrical profile allows the rope to glide effortlessly, making belaying smoother and pulling up slack for that crucial clip quicker and more intuitive, even when you´re pumped and at your physical limit.

Key Features:
- Minimised rope wear: The wide, smooth contact surface is exceptionally kind to your rope, drastically reducing friction and abrasion during falls and lowering, thereby extending its lifespan.
- Improved rope running: Experience a fluid, snag-free rope action, whether you´re paying out slack for a clip, taking in rope, or belaying your partner.
- Better softening of the fall: The carabiner´s unique geometry helps absorb impact forces more effectively, leading to softer catches that inspire confidence when pushing your grade.
- Eases pulling up slack to clip: The smooth, low-friction surface allows you to pull rope through the system with minimal effort, making desperate clips less stressful and more successful.
