BEAL Escape System | Ultralight Single Rope Abseil Accessory

Category: Climbing Equipment
Subcategory: Accessories
---

Transform your approach to mountain travel with the revolutionary BEAL Escape System, the ultimate ultralight accessory for modern climbers, alpinists, and ski-mountaineers. Say goodbye to the weight and hassle of carrying a second rope or a dedicated tag line for rappels. This ingenious system is meticulously designed to allow you to perform a full-length abseil on your single dynamic rope and retrieve it with ease, effectively halving your rope weight on descents.

Revolutionize your descents with the BEAL Escape System! This ultralight, detachable abseil accessory lets you rappel the full length of your single rope and retrieve it, eliminating the need for a second rope. Its universal compatibility with ropes 7.3mm+ ensures seamless integration with your gear. Perfect for multi-pitch, ski-mountaineering, and escape situations, it offers speed, safety, and confidence. Move faster, lighter, and smarter with BEAL Escape.

Whether you´re navigating complex multi-pitch descents, crossing a bergschrund on a ski tour, or in need of a quick and safe retreat from a route, the BEAL Escape provides an unparalleled advantage. Its minimalist design is incredibly compact, taking up negligible space in your pack, yet it delivers maximum efficiency when you need it most. The system is intuitive to deploy, allowing for rapid setup at the anchor, which saves critical time during transitions or in changing weather conditions. By rappelling on a single strand of your trusted climbing rope, you maintain a familiar and secure feel, while the specialized Escape cord serves only as the means for retrieval.

Key Benefits & Features:

* Full-Length Single Rope Rappels: Maximize your descent distance by utilizing the entire length of your single rope, just as you would with a two-rope system.
* Drastic Weight Reduction: The primary advantage for fast-and-light ascents. Leave the second rope or heavy pull cord behind and significantly lighten your pack load.
* Ultralight & Compact: Weighing less than 100 grams, this system is a negligible addition to your rack but a monumental improvement to your mountain efficiency.
* Universal Compatibility: Expertly designed to work seamlessly and securely with all single dynamic and static ropes with a diameter of 7.3 mm or greater.
* Increased Speed and Efficiency: Streamline your anchor transitions and descents. The quick deployment and retrieval process gets you moving faster.
* Enhanced Safety for Retreats: An essential piece of kit for unplanned retreats or emergency situations, enabling a safe bail with only the rope you climbed on.
* Versatile Application: An indispensable tool for a wide range of vertical pursuits, including multi-pitch rock climbing, alpinism, ski-mountaineering, and even canyoning.

The BEAL Escape System is more than just an accessory; it´s a fundamental shift in how you approach vertical environments. It empowers you to travel with less, move with greater agility, and retain a high margin of safety. Upgrade your gear and embrace the freedom of efficient, lightweight mountain travel.

What our customers are saying about Beal Escape Rope

This is a great lightweight single rope recovery system for rappelling. It´s super lightweight and compact, perfect for a "light and fast" climbing philosophy. It allows for fast rope recovery on single rope rappels, speeding up descents. A practical and flexible addition to any climbing rack, it´s a safer alternative to a FIFI hook for ejectable rappels in the mountains or canyons. Requires practice and keeping the rope in tension to work correctly

A revolution

AlpControl - Alain CALMET

Thanks to its very big safety gain compared to a FIFI hook, it allows to generalize the practice of the ejectable recall in the mountains, or for example in a canyon which has a waterfall much larger than the others. I keep FIFI as a backup for cases where it has a strong draw on the rope.

Very fast shipping, as usual. The product is as described. Excellent means of fortune that allows us to rappel in simple with the possibility of recovering the rope. Indispensable for descuelgues or rappels in situations in which it can not be lowered in double or with two ropes. It occupies little space, has little weight and the price is affordable.
