This carabiner is meticulously designed to provide a seamless connection between you, your rope, and the rock, ensuring every clip is intuitive and secure.

The standout feature of the BEAL Orient Express is its innovative keylock nose design. This snag-free system is a game-changer, eliminating the frustration of the carabiner catching on bolt hangers, rope fibers, or your harness gear loops. When you´re pumped at the crux or cleaning a steep, overhanging route, this smooth operation allows for faster, safer, and more efficient maneuvers. You can clip and unclip with absolute confidence, knowing your gear won´t hang up when you need it most. This fluid action is what sets the Orient Express apart, transforming a simple piece of equipment into a trusted partner on your vertical adventures.

Ergonomics are at the heart of the Orient Express BI´s design. Its specific shape has been perfected to fit naturally in your hand, providing a comfortable and secure grip whether you´re bare-handed or wearing gloves. This thoughtful construction ensures that clipping feels like a natural extension of your movement. The generous gate opening and the carabiner´s overall geometry are optimized for quick and easy rope insertion, particularly in the bent-gate version designed for the rope-end of a quickdraw. This allows you to make critical clips with minimal effort, conserving precious energy for the moves ahead.

Built for versatility and durability, the BEAL Orient Express BI snap hook excels in a wide range of climbing disciplines. It is the ideal carabiner for building your own custom quickdraws or for use as a standalone tool on your rack. Its robust construction provides the security needed for projecting hard sport routes, while its refined handling makes it a favorite for long multi-pitch climbs where efficiency is key.
