Berghaus Rain Motion AF jacket

Berghaus Women´s Rain Motion AF Jacket

A high-performance waterproof shell designed for active use in the rain.

Featuring advanced waterproof technology, it keeps you dry while allowing internal moisture to escape.

Its athletic fit and articulated sleeves ensure you can move freely, making it a top choice for hikers who refuse to let the weather stop them from reaching the summit.

Face the most challenging weather head-on with the Berghaus Rain Motion AF Jacket, engineered specifically for the dynamic female adventurer. This isn´t just a rain jacket; it´s your personal shield against downpours and biting winds, ensuring your focus remains on the trail ahead, not the storm clouds gathering. The core of its design lies in providing uncompromising waterproof protection without the clammy, restrictive feeling of lesser shells. The advanced fabric technology works tirelessly to block every drop of rain from penetrating, while simultaneously promoting exceptional breathability. This crucial feature allows perspiration vapour to escape, maintaining a comfortable and dry microclimate inside, even during strenuous ascents and fast-paced treks.

Movement is life on the mountain, and the Rain Motion AF Jacket is built to flow with you. The tailored athletic fit contours to your body without being restrictive, eliminating excess fabric that can catch or snag. This is further enhanced by the articulated sleeve design, which provides a full and natural range of motion for your arms, whether you´re using trekking poles, scrambling over rocks, or simply reaching for your water bottle. Every detail is crafted for performance, allowing you to move with agility and confidence. The fully adjustable hood acts as your primary defense, cinching down for a secure, custom fit that moves with your head, while its stiffened peak channels water away from your face and maintains your peripheral vision.

Practicality is woven into every seam. Water-resistant zips on the front and pockets provide a robust barrier against moisture ingress, protecting both you and your essential gear. The two strategically placed hand pockets are raised to remain accessible even when you´re wearing a rucksack with a hip belt. When the intensity picks up and you need to dump heat fast, underarm pit zips offer instant ventilation. Fine-tune your fit on the fly with the hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs and the dual drawcord hem, sealing out drafts and spindrift to lock in warmth.
