Black Diamond Alpine Softshell gloves

BLACK DIAMOND Alpine Softshell Gloves

Conquer the cold and command the mountain with the BLACK DIAMOND Alpine Softshell Gloves, your essential partner for high-altitude performance and all-around winter adventures. Engineered as the definitive cold-weather glove for trips that take you above the treeline, this style delivers an impeccable balance of warmth, dexterity, and weather protection. Whether you´re ski touring through pristine powder, on a multi-pitch ice climb, or embarking on a classic alpine ascent, these gloves provide the reliability and function you need when conditions are demanding.

The foundation of the Alpine Softshell glove is its advanced, water-resistant stretch-woven softshell fabric. This technical outer layer moves with you, providing unrestricted freedom of movement for precise pole plants and tool handling, while its DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish actively sheds snow and moisture to keep your hands dry. When the temperature plummets, the 60g PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core insulation on the back of the hand offers superior thermal performance, trapping essential heat without the cumbersome bulk that can compromise your grip and feel.

Durability is paramount in rugged environments, and the full goatskin leather palm answers the call. This tough yet supple leather provides exceptional abrasion resistance against rock, ice, and rope friction, ensuring these gloves are a long-lasting part of your mountain kit. More than just durable, the leather palm offers a secure, confident grip on your tools, giving you the control you need for critical maneuvers.

BLACK DIAMOND´s commitment to a superior fit is evident in the cuff design. Utilizing innovative Bemis Versafilm bonding technology, the cuff construction is completely seamless and low-profile. This technical design eliminates chafing and creates a sleek interface that slides effortlessly under your jacket sleeves, effectively sealing out drafts and spindrift for a complete weather-proof system.

Designed for the modern adventurer, these full-fingered gloves are packed with functional details. The thumb and index finger feature touchscreen-compatible material, allowing you to operate your GPS device or smartphone without exposing your hands to the biting cold. Sturdy pull loops make them easy to put on, even with cold or wet hands, and a convenient pairing clip ensures your gloves stay together in your pack or on your harness, ready for the next objective.
