Black Diamond Fineline Stretch Shell jacket

Black Diamond FineLine Stretch Shell Jacket

Prepare for any mountain adventure with the Black Diamond FineLine Stretch Shell Jacket, your essential layer for ultimate protection against unpredictable weather. Engineered for the alpinist who demands performance without the weight, this jacket is the definitive choice for fast-and-light missions where every gram counts and mobility is paramount. When the forecast is uncertain, the FineLine provides the confidence you need to push forward.

This innovative Hardshell jacket is built around Black Diamond´s proprietary BD.dry™ solution, an engineered barrier that is fully Waterproof and Windproof while remaining exceptionally breathable. This technical fabric ensures that you stay completely dry from external downpours and protected from biting winds, all while allowing internal moisture and heat to escape during high-output activities. The result is superior comfort that keeps you from overheating on strenuous ascents and from getting chilled during static moments.

A key benefit of the FineLine is its remarkable Stretch fabric. Unlike traditional rigid shells that can restrict movement, this jacket is designed to move with you. Combined with strategically placed underarm gussets, it offers an unparalleled range of motion, making it ideal for climbing, scrambling, and dynamic trekking where reaching and stretching are part of the challenge. You´ll never feel held back by your gear.

Functionality is at the core of its design. The jacket is equipped With Hood, which is adjustable and specifically designed to be compatible with a climbing helmet, ensuring your vision and safety are never compromised. The YKK Reverse coil PU coated center front zipper provides an additional seal against moisture ingress. When the storm passes and the sun appears, the entire jacket cleverly stows into its own external chest pocket, which features a carabiner clip loop. This incredible packability allows you to clip it directly to your harness or stash it in your pack, taking up minimal space until it´s needed again. Adjustable cuffs and hem allow you to dial in the fit and seal out the elements completely.
